We’re delighted to welcome two new recruits to the Pod team - meet our web developer, Kris and digital account executive Emma!
In recent years, we’ve seen B2B businesses’ digital spend increase steadily, but with in-person events and face-to-face meetings set to be postponed for the foreseeable future due to Covid-19, many organisations are understandably focusing on digital activity more than ever before. And we believe that this is a trend that’s here to stay, which is why we’re expanding our digital capabilities, so we can support even more organisations’ marketing needs. Research shows that B2B buyers are now making 48% of their B2B purchases online - a significant increase of 22% from 2019.
We’ve already helped a number of clients to boost their online presence through some really innovative digital campaigns - such as Inspired Energy’s OnDemand Week, and GEFCO’s first podcast. This means that we’re one of the lucky businesses that has seen increased demand as a result of Covid-19, as the shift to digital has boosted our clients’ requirements for all of our services, as our designers work to create web pages that reflect a brand’s personality and our copywriters craft engaging social posts. That’s what makes our fully-integrated approach so valuable for our clients, as we can do it all under one roof - but it’s safe to say that our Head of Digital Adam has been very busy recently!
That’s why we’ve been focused on growing our digital team, and we’re all so happy to have Kris and Emma on board. With experience in both web design and development, Kris joins us from Hubken Group. Kris is skilled in delivering custom systems in a variety of languages, including Vue JS, REACT and PHP. So, whether you’re looking for a landing page that delivers leads, or a website that’s totally user-friendly, he’s your man.
Emma joins us from Coin Rivet, where she discovered a love of digital while successfully growing site traffic through social media and content creation. She’s already hit the ground running on a number of social media campaigns, demonstrating her ability to harness the hashtag to deliver excellent results for our clients.
Here’s what Jodie, our Co-founder and Director, had to say:
“We’re delighted to welcome two new Podsters to the team, because although B2B businesses have been making a steady shift towards digital marketing for some time now, we’ve seen a real increase in demand for digital in recent months. We expect this trend to continue for the long-term, so we’re growing our digital team to enable us to provide the fully-integrated experience our clients love both online and offline.
“With Kris and Emma on board, and our Head of Digital Adam at the helm, we can provide our clients with a full suite of digital solutions, including building intuitive websites, implementing SEO strategies, growing their online presence and delivering engaging virtual events.”
